Thoughts are things. Have you heard that statement before? As it turns out, many believe that no thing ever turns into something without a thought. That would place thoughts pretty high up on the list of important things. And since we are discussing your thoughts, you are even higher up on the list of important things. Without going into an entire justification for why I believe that thoughts are things, let’s just use it as our ongoing hypothesis.
One of the reasons that humanity is here in this relative dimension on earth and one of the reasons you as part of humanity are here on earth is to evolve your thought. You are a creator. Each and everyone of us is a creator and creation begins with thought. We grow through our thoughts. We open and allow thoughts to work with us in defining our experience. We use our thoughts to build personal limits and boundaries. Our thoughts help us to visualize the constructs of an experience, to define feelings, to feel them, to bring them to life.
There is no matter without thought. Space holds no matter until a thought is given to it and then it becomes and what it becomes depends upon the thought being given to it. You are the energy and you project that energy into space when you create a thought. We live in a material world and without the thought, the thing can never be created in our physical environment. It can never become physical.
Let's take a moment and consider different types of thoughts. There is a thought that is more or less just factual. For example, the thought that 2 + 2 = 4. Or the thought that today is Thursday. That thought is simply stating a fact. There are thoughts that are the result of sensory input. For example, when you look outside and see the sun shining you can have a thought that it's a sunny day. Or you can have a thought that you are hungry and you know that it's time to get something to eat. There is a whole range of thoughts that are a result of information that is received by our physical senses.
The next group of thoughts to consider, and this is by all means not an exhaustive list of groups of thoughts, are thoughts that are related to emotions. For example, seeing the sunshine might also result in a thought of pleasure especially if it's been raining for the last week. Seeing a family member can result in a thought of love. All of our emotions are thoughts. Whether you feel happy or sad, safe or afraid, lonely or connected, all of these are thoughts that are based upon your feelings.
The next group of thoughts, and this is the one that I would like to focus on, is what I would call directive thoughts. These are thoughts that set an intention or goal. I want to go to the post office today is a directive thought. I need to make an appointment to see the dentist is a directive thought. Directive thoughts are calls to action and they are based upon a decision that you have made to achieve a specific goal. If you want to grow a vegetable garden and harvest tomatoes in the summertime, then you have to decide to take action and plant tomatoes in the spring. There is a very simple cause and effect relationship here. You decide on a goal and you think about what it takes to achieve that goal.
Let's continue with the garden analogy. If you want to enjoy fresh green beans from your garden, you need to plant seeds in the spring. Now just how do you know that that action will result in your eating fresh green beans? You have a belief that those seeds will produce plants that will produce beans. Now you may have that belief based upon your personal experience or you may have that belief, if this is your first time, based upon what others have said. But it is still a belief. And this is my point. Beliefs start out at one time or another as thoughts. And over time you allowed that thought to become a belief which then becomes part of your reality.
Ok, let’s review. Thoughts are things. No thing becomes some thing with a thought. You create using your thoughts. We are all here in this relative dimension to evolve thought. Thoughts that you hold as true in time harden into beliefs. Your beliefs create your reality. I hope that makes sense to you.
In order for me to share with you how to use the Platonic solids to heal yourself, I’m going to present some concepts that may be new to you. Some of these concepts have to do with consciousness. Some have to do with you and I being more than we think we are. Some have to do with the nature of the manifested universe and of course there will be some about the nature of our physical body and our relationship to it.
